 About us
S&E is a private owned Hungarian company that has been manufacturing shoes for women since its founding in 1995. The company's managers and production team have many decades of Hungarian shoe industry experience to create high quality shoes.
The Budapest factory produces shoes under the brand names of "EstrellaTM" and "ComfortellaTM" which are both owned by the company. Our designers develop, model and oversee the shoe manufacturing process which are made from all natural leather materials.
We present two collections every year to our customers. The spring-summer collection offers shoes, pumps, slingbacks, and sandals while our autumn-winter collection offers autumn shoes, below knee and also knee-high boots.
Certain models are available both in normal and with extra anatomical support soles, raised instep or in extra-wide build-up for special needs.
Our flexible designing and manufacturing process makes it possible to fulfill our customers' special requests on a regular basis.
Most of our collection is offered in various sizes ranging from women's 33 to 44.

 ESTRELLA Soft Sole Shoes
Medical experts worldwide agree that barefoot is best, and soft, flexible-soled shoes are the next best choice, for both infants and children. Estrella's high quality leather baby shoes can be used indoors or in strollers from the time the baby starts standing up. The soft sole allow babies to use their natural balancing ability to stand up and walk. These shoes mimic walking bare feet, by supporting - not constricting tiny growing feet.
It feels like walking in socks but without the slippery soles. At the same time it helps making the transition easier for the baby to get used to wearing shoes.
When a child starts walking, the muscles, bones, and joints are developing in such a fashion as to improve the foundation of the child's body. In this period, their foot is fat, flat, and floppy, with no arch and a significant fat pad in the area of the arch. This is generally a fairly stable base of support. As a child begins to become more efficient with their walking activities, the foot becomes stronger, the ranges of motion become less, and the foot slowly develops an arch. The ratios of baby feet are anatomically different than adults. To accomodate this both the nose and the sole of the soft Estrella baby shoes are wider relative to the length.
